Transform the flavors of a traditional antipasto plate into an easy sandwich with this simple recipe for antipasto sandwiches. Ingredients:
2 (6-ounce) cans low-sodium white tuna packed in water, drained |
1/4 cup fat-free zesty italian dressing |
1 (12-ounce) loaf italian bread, split horizontally and toasted |
4 romaine lettuce leaves |
2 plum tomatoes, sliced |
3 (2-ounce) slices part-skim mozzarella cheese |
2 tablespoons chopped ripe olives |
Directions:
1. Combine tuna and dressing; toss well. Spoon tuna mixture over bottom half of bread. Arrange lettuce, sliced tomato, and cheese evenly over tuna mixture; sprinkle with olives. Top with remaining bread half. Cut into 6 pieces. |
