Antipasto Salad from Gooseberry Patch |

This is a flavorful make-ahead salad which can also double as antipasto if you serve it with toothpicks. Serve the salad with a slotted spoon. This is very easy to put together yet is a crowd-pleaser. Notice that you make this the day before to allow flavors to marry. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package cheddar cheese, cubed |
1 (16 ounce) package provolone cheese, cubed |
1 (16 ounce) package sliced mushrooms |
1 lb hard salami, cubed |
1/2 lb pepperoni, cubed |
1 (6 ounce) can black olives, drained (whole, pitted, ripe) |
1 onion, chopped |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 jalapeno pepper, sliced |
1 (16 ounce) bottle italian salad dressing |
Directions:
1. Toss together all ingredients in a serving bowl. 2. Cover and chill overnight. |
