From 1993 Mountain View's Best Cooks compiled by Friends of Pack Memorial Library. Submission by Mirla Omey, 1967. I have used cayenne before on my plants and it works well. Ingredients:
1 onion, strong minced |
5 garlic cloves, crushed |
4 tablespoons cayenne pepper |
1 gallon water |
Directions:
1. Bring mixture to a boil and then strain. 2. Pour into a spray bottle and apply to plants. 3. This is not a residual acting formula so you may have to spray often and watch your garden carefully. 4. If bugs not discouraged (what a nice way to say it), make next batch stronger. The stronger the more effective. |
