This is my version of taco soup. Nothing really unique, but I like options when I find recipes! Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
32 ounces kidney beans (2 cans) |
10 ounces rotel tomatoes & chilies |
1 small onion |
1 garlic clove |
2 cups frozen corn |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix |
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix (recommend hidden valley) |
1 cup tomato sauce (or water) |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, garlic and onions in large pot. 2. Drain and put back in pot. 3. Add the beans, rotel tomatoes/chilies, corn, tomato sauce (or water), taco seasoning and ranch dressing packet. 4. Simmer and heat through until ready to serve. 5. This should not take more than 15 minutes to be ready to eat. |
