I'm putting it here for easy access as I'm downsizing my recipes cupboards, LOL. Hope you enjoy this easy wonderful recipe. Ingredients:
3/4 cup crabmeat, shredded |
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 green onion, minced |
1/2 teaspoon dried mustard |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
puff batter |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup flour |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. In bowl, mix together first 7 ingredients. Set aside. 2. In saucepan, heat butter and water to a boil. Remove from heat. Add flour and beat until mxiture does not stick to sides of pan and forms into a ball. 3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until each is fully incorporated, Carefully fold in crab-cheese, mixture. 4. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet, about 1 inch apart and bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes or until golden. Serve hot. 5. Note: These can be frozen after they are baked. To reheat, bake at 325 for about 10 minutes. |
