Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
3/4 pound(s) dates |
1 1/4 cup(s) rolled oats |
1 1/4 cup(s) flour |
3/4 teaspoon(s) soda |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 cup(s) brown sugar |
1/2 cup(s) butter |
Directions:
1. Cover the dates with the water (and 1/2 c sugar), boil until soft. 2. Mix the remaining ingredients like pie crust. 3. Put half in tin (baking pan) in a sheet, then dates, then remaining half on top. Cook til brown. 4. Cut while hot (written twice so they must get hard to cut!). |
