This quesadilla is easy, quick and perfect for late night munchies! Best of all, it usually consists of things already in your cupboard and refrigerator ... hopefully. :) Definitely NOT your traditional quesdadilla, though! But if you're not picky, and you LOVE flavor, then ENJOY!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium flour tortilla (any kind)
garlic pepper seasoning (lawry's is what i prefer)
1/2 cup cheese, mexican blend (shredded, any kind)
2 slices american cheese (any kind)
hot sauce (cholula hot sauce original is what i prefer)
dipping sauce
1 tablespoon ranch dressing (hidden valley buttermilk is what i prefer)
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce (kc masterpiece is what i prefer)
Directions:
1. Start off by heating butter over meduim heat until liquified.
2. Throw in a flour tortilla and brown both sides until golden or crisp (your preference).
3. Once brown, season with garlic pepper one side first; flip over and season the other side.
4. Once both sides are seasoned and brown, leave on one side and place the mexican blend cheese and American cheese slices in the CENTER of the tortilla. (Make sure the stove is still on medium).
5. Carefully fold one side on top of the other (like a taco) and press with a spatula.
6. Cook for 2 minutes; flip and cook for two more minutes (or until cheese is melted).
7. Make sure each side of the quesadilla is brown before with melted cheese before removing from heat.
8. After removing the quesadilla, place on a plate and cut it in half or fourths (whichever you prefer).
9. Lightly sprinkle hot sauce over on one side of the quesadilla.
10. Lastly, mix Ranch dressing AND BBQ sauce together in a ramekin or side dish. Dip and LOVE IT!
