Halibut topped with a creamy curry sauce and onions. The delicious sauce keeps the halibut moist. Ingredients:
2 lbs halibut fillets, boned and skinned |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup cream |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup dry sherry |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
2 teaspoons curry powder |
1 cup thinly sliced onion |
green onion stems, sliced at an angle |
Directions:
1. Wash and pat dry fish. 2. Cut into serving size portions. 3. Salt and Pepper fish. 4. Butter baking dish. 5. Add onions. 6. Lay fish on top of onions. 7. Combine rest of ingredients except green onions in a bowl. 8. Pour mixture over fish. 9. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. 10. Sprinkle green onion over fish. 11. Serve with rice. |
