Barefoot Contessa Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 egg |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 1/2 cups rolled oats (quick or old fashioned) |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or 1/2 cup almonds |
1/2 cup raisins |
1/4 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375, grease cookie sheets. 2. In a large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar and butter, beat until light and fluffy. 3. Add vanilla and egg, blend well. 4. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. 5. Stir in oats, raisins, nuts and chocolate chips. 6. Droup dough by rounded teaspoons 2 apart on cookie sheets. 7. Bake 7-10 minutes. 8. Cool for one minute and remove from cookie sheet onto cooling racks. |
