Rich and hearty beef and barley stew. Perfect for a cold day Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs stewing beef, cut very small |
32 ounces tomato sauce |
5 cups beef stock |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
2 cups pearl barley |
1 teaspoon garlic |
1 teaspoon italian seasoning |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a crock pot. Set on low and allow to simmer atleast 8 hours. |
