This is a recipe from my good friend Jenn who made this for me when I was sick. It is amazing and completely traditional. Trust me... you will love this recipe! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 onion, chopped |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley |
1 (27 ounce) can brooks chili beans |
1 (16 ounce) can brooks chili beans |
1.5 (16 ounce) cans water |
salt |
pepper |
1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes |
1 beef bouillon cube |
hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and onion. 2. Add fresh chopped parsley. 3. Add Brooks Beans and water, heat to boiling. 4. Add salt and pepper to taste. 5. Stir in stewed tomatoes after 20 minutes of simmering. 6. Slightly mash. 7. Add buillion cube and hot sauce to taste. 8. Simmer for another 30 minutes, and serve! |
