This is a true winner. Everyone loves, even kids. Fast and easy warm hors 'doeuvre to fill your party trays! Ingredients:
1 pt. select oysters |
12 slices bacon |
1/2 t. salt |
1/8 t. pepper |
1/2 t. paprika |
2 t. parsley, chopped |
wooden toothpicks |
options: chicken livers are great too. minced garlic would be a fine flavor too. |

Directions:
1. Drain oysters and lay each oyster across half a slice of bacon, and sprinkle the seasonings all over the laid out ingredients. 2. Roll bacon around each oyster and fasten with a toothpick. Place oyster on a rack in shallow pan and bake in 450 F oven for about 10 minutes, or until bacon is crisp, 3. Remove toothpicks and serve. Makes about 2 dozen Angels on Horseback. enjoy!! |
