This muffin is great for a healthy on the go breakfast, or a healthy snack. Ingredients:
3/4 cup whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup all purpose flour |
1/4 cup wheat bran |
2 tablespoon wheat germ |
3 tablespoon oatmeal |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
3/4 tsp salt |
1 tsp ground cinnamon |
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg |
1/4 tsp ground ginger |
3/4 cup buttermilk |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup applesauce |
1 large egg |
1/2 cup dried cranberries |
Directions:
1. Add all dry ingredients together, beat egg and add to buttermilk. add this to the dry ingredients. bake in muffin cups at 350 o F for 25 to 30 minutes. |
