This muffin is great for a healthy on the go breakfast, or a healthy snack.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup wheat bran
2 tablespoon wheat germ
3 tablespoon oatmeal
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
1 large egg
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Directions:
1. Add all dry ingredients together, beat egg and add to buttermilk. add this to the dry ingredients. bake in muffin cups at 350 o F for 25 to 30 minutes.
