Ingredients:
8 ounce(s) angel hair pasta |
2 tablespoon(s) olive oil |
2 medium onions thinly sliced |
2 can(s) 14 oz. diced tomatoes undrained |
6 slice(s) bacon cooked and chopped |
2 teaspoon(s) cider vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon(s) sugar |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/4 teaspoon(s) crushed red pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook and drain pasta according to package directions. 2. In large skillet cook bacon just until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet; chop. Drain fat from skillet. 3. Add olive oil; heat over medium heat. 4. Add onion; sauté 6 to 8 minutes or until browned. 5. Stir in undrained tomatoes, breaking with spoon. Add bacon, vinegar, sugar, salt and crushed red pepper. 6. Bring to a boil over medium heat. 7. Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. 8. Toss with angel hair. |
