Very smooth and creamy, delicious sauce. I like to serve this with shrimp or scallops, but it also is very good alongside chicken. Ingredients:
10 ounces angel hair pasta |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
2 tablespoons oil |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon basil |
1 1/2 cups milk |
4 ounces cream cheese, diced |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to directions. 2. In lg skillet, saute garlic in oil. 3. Stir in flour, cornstarch, garlic salt, pepper and basil. 4. Slowly add milk; bring to a boil. 5. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. 6. Reduce heat; stir in cream cheese and parmesan cheese. 7. Stir until smooth. 8. Add drained pasta, toss to coat. |
