The sauce would also be great served over ice cream or fresh peaches. Ingredients:
2 cups fresh raspberries |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon framboise (raspberry brandy) |
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice |
4 (1 1/2-ounce) slices angel food cake |
Directions:
1. Combine berries and sugar in a food processor; process until smooth. Press pureed mixture through a fine sieve over a small bowl, reserving liquid; discard seeds. Stir in liqueur and lemon juice. Serve with cake. |
