I had this dish at Helen Wada Japanese New Year’s dinner.
Ingredients:
1/3 tablespoon soy sauce
1/3 tablespoon sugar
1/3 tablespoon mirin
8 ounces dried anchovies, small, shirakiku brand (taberu niboshi)
Directions:
1. In a saucepan add soy sauce, sugar and mirin and stirring at all time. Reduce this mixture by half and add in the small anchovy.
