AN OLE CROCK OF SMOKED SAUSAGE STEW This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Thorp Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1998. Ingredients:
1 pound smoked sausage in 1/2 slices |
4 medium potatoes cut into 1 cubes |
15 ounce can green peas undrained |
15 ounce can chopped tomatoes undrained |
1 can french onion soup |
2 tablespoons onion flakes |
1-1/2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in crock pot and stir well. 2. Cook on low for 6 hours. |
