This is one of my favorite Amish dishes. I use leftover crackers, I mix and match them. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
2 cups milk |
1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar |
1 (4 ounce) package ritz crackers (1-2 sleeves depending how thick you want it, we use about 1 1/2) |
Directions:
1. This is only an approximation. I never do measure the items. 2. I just dump milk in the saucepan, add butter and sugar (I never measure)....when it is heated. I add the crackers. This should be the consistency of really soft stuffing. 3. Oh, I love this. I'm going to make this tonight and take a picture to show you. |
