This recipe is the Amish version of taco salad. It is so good and feeds a ton so is good for a party Ingredients:
1 head lettuce, shredded |
4 tomatoes, diced |
1 large onion, diced |
1 (14 ounce) bag tortilla chips, crushed |
3 lbs ground beef |
1 cup hard-boiled egg, diced |
1 lb saltine crackers, crushed |
2 cups cooked rice |
4 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cheddar cheese soup |
1 cup diced pecans |
1 (16 ounce) carton sour cream |
1 cup chopped carrot |
1 cup diced green pepper |
1 cup sunflower seeds |
1 (10 ounce) jar salsa |
Directions:
1. brown hamburger and add onions and salsa. 2. Layer everything in large pans. |
