This recipe along with 1 bag of starter was given to my husband where he used to work. I didn't keep it going but I figured out how to make the starter when I wanted it. If you use different flavors you migh not want to put the cinnamon sugar mixture in the pans or on the loaves.
Ingredients:
note: i don't want to miss lead anyone the starter that is written down did not come with the recipe. i put these ingredients in a plastic bag and did what the recipe said and made a starter.
don't use a metal spoon or bowl for mixing
do not refrigerate
for starter
1 gallon plastic bag
1 cup of plain plour
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk
to make the start put all ingredients in the plastic gallon bag and squeeze the bag until all is mixed.
if air gets in the bag, let it out! it is normal for the batter to thicken, bubble, and ferment.
