Amish Bread Pudding

What's better than bread pudding ? This sounds delish ! Another recipe out of my Missouri Amish cookbook 1990. I am unsure of the serving size or pan size.
Ingredients:
2 cups dry bread
1/2 cup sugar
1 pint cream or 1 pint milk
4 eggs
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4 teaspoons butter
1 pinch salt
Directions:
1. Soak torn bread in cream.
2. Add sugar and butter, beaten eggs, cinnamon, salt and vanilla, stirring to blend.
3. Put into a buttered baking dish.
4. May add a little chopped citron, chopped raisins or dates if you wish.
5. Bake approximately 40 minutes in a 375 oven.
