1 orange |
1 cup whipping cream |
4 egg yolks |
1 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons butter or margarine |
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut |
1 cup currants |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Grate orange rind; set aside. Remove seeds from orange. Grind orange; set aside. 2. Combine cream, egg yolks, and sugar in a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in butter. 3. Stir in orange rind and pulp. Add coconut, currants, and pecans, mixing well. Let cool completely. |
