My aunt gave this to me and told me it worked great on really set in stains, even on clothes that have been dried repeatedly, and that I could use it on multi-colored (ie: striped) clothes. I was a little skeptical until I tried it out on my son's bibs and washcloths which were stained with strained sweet potatoes and carrots. It worked like a charm and now you can try it too! Ingredients:
1 gallon cold water |
1/4 cup laundry detergent |
1/4-1/2 cup bleach |
Directions:
1. Fill sink or bucket with cold water (always use cold water because it won't activate the bleach and fade your clothes).
2. Slowly stir in detergent and bleach.
3. Add clothes and let soak.
4. Check every 10-15 minutes.
5. Drain water and wring out clothes.
6. Run through a regular load of laundry to get out bleach.
