This is a flavorful, heart-healthy glaze that can take your holiday chicken, pork, turkey and even fish up a notch. This recipe was submitted to Your Health magazine by Michelle Charles. I have not tried this recipe, just posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1/2 cup pomegranate juice |
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger |
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar |
1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce |
1/2 cup orange marmalade |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine the first three ingredients and simmer. 2. Stir in cranberry sauce and orange marmalade. Whisk until dissolved. 3. Remove from heat, and brush onto desired meat. |
