Amazing Crock Pot Country Stew |

Tried and true estate sale recipe. This one comes from the Jacobs Estate in Mabank, Texas. It is savory, comforting and very tasty for cold winter days and nights. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 pounds beef stew meat |
5 carrots sliced |
3 white onions cut up |
6 potatoes cut up |
3 ribs celery sliced |
28 ounce can whole tomatoes cut up (do not discard juice) |
1 cup water |
6 tablespoons minute tapioca |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice |
1/2 teaspoon marjoram |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
10 ounce package frozen sweet peas |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients except peas into a crock pot and stir well. 2. Cover and cook on low for 12 hours. 3. Turn to high and add frozen peas and cook an additional hour. |
