This is wonderful poured over almost anything you can think of. Ice cream, pound cake, fruit, etc. Cereal?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe not. ha ha. Ingredients:
3/4 cup half-and-half |
1 tablespoon salted butter |
1/2 lb chocolate chips (1 1/3 cups) |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
1 ounce amaretto |
Directions:
1. Bring half and half, booze, vanilla & butter to a slight simmer. 2. Take off heat. 3. Pour over the chocolate chips and let sit for 1 minute. 4. Whisk until smooth. 5. If necessary put back on a very gentle heat to melt the chocolate. 6. Serve warm. |
