I'm not sure where this recipe came from. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. I plan to use vanilla protein powder.
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups rolled oats (quicks recommended)
1 1/2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup sugar free pancake syrup
2 egg whites
1/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup natural applesauce
10 tablespoons chocolate 100% whey protein powder (4 scoops)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325.
2. Mix all the dry stuff to blend.
3. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. (Sort of will look like cookie dough).
4. Spread on cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. (You can use a 9x13-inch baking dish if you want it thicker).
5. Bake until edges are crisp and brown. (Since chocolate protein powder is used you might not notice the tops browned much).
