This is incredible. I obtained this from an estate sale a few years back and tried it right away. Since then, it has been a regular in my home. Enjoy. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter |
1/3 cup granulated sugar |
1 large egg |
3/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour |
24 ounces cream cheese softened |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
3 tablespoons unbleached all-purpose flour |
3 large eggs |
16 ounces canned peach halves drained then pureed |
1/4 cup almond flavored liqueur |
Directions:
1. Combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy then blend in egg. 2. Add flour then mix well and spread dough onto bottom of spring form pan. 3. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. 4. Combine cream cheese, sugar and flour. 5. Mix at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. 6. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition. 7. Add peaches and liqueur then mix well and pour over crust. 8. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes then reduce oven to 250 and bake 65 minutes longer. 9. Loosen cake from rim of pan then cool before removing rim of pan. 10. Chill then garnish with additional peach slices and sliced almonds if desired. |
