A short little recipe I've saved but never made. It sounds like it would be good over ice cream. Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup whipping cream |
1/4 cup light corn syrup |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons amaretto |
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except the amaretto. 2. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. 3. Reduce heat, boil gently, 8 to 10 minutes, or until slightly thickened. 4. Remove from the heat; stir in amaretto. 5. Serve warm. |
