this goes very nice on the amaretto cupcake recipe... it would go nice on a number of other cakes also.. the recipe makes enough frosting for 24 cupcakes...depending on how thick you put it on.!! and how much you sample. Read more ...LOL Ingredients:
3 cups confectioners' sugar |
1/4 cup butter or margarine; melted |
3 to 4 tablespoons whipping cream |
2 to 3 tablespoons amaretto |
Directions:
1. In a small mixing bowl, beat confectioners' sugar and butter. Add whipping cream and Amaretto; beat until smooth. Add remaining cream and Amaretto if needed to achieve spreading consistency.
2. Yield: frosts 24 regular cupcakes
