Crispy flourless almond cookie. It is better tasting the next day! Ingredients:
4 c blanched almonds |
2 c gradulated sugar |
4 egg whites |
1 tsp cream of tartar |
2 tsp almond extract |
confectionary sugar |
Directions:
1. Grind or process almonds and sugar. Set aside. 2. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar untl stiff. 3. Add almond extract and continue beating. 4. Fold in almond sugar. 5. Drop by tablespoon onto parchment paper. 6. Sprinkle with some confectionary sugar and wait 2 hours at room temperature. 7. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. |
