tried a similar version in Amalfi, it was delicious!
Ingredients:
1/2 kg a medium sized octopus, cooked and cut into pieces
1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped onions
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh basil, finely chopped
6 ounces avocados, cut into cubes
1 ounce lemon juice
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 serrano chilies, finely chopped
salt
chili powder
Directions:
1. Mix the octopus, onions, and basil in a bowl. Add the avocado cubes on top.
2. Add the lime juice, olive oil, salt, serrano chili and the chili powder (I recommend Tajin a mexican brand).
3. serve with tostadas or pita crisps.
