Alu posto means potato with poppy seeds . From Bangladesh. Ingredients:
8 potatoes, peeled and diced |
1 onion, chopped |
2 green chilies, chopped finely |
1/2 teaspoon turmeric |
2 tablespoons poppy seeds |
Directions:
1. Fry the onion three minutes, add the potatoes and stir fry 3 minutes more. Add the rest of the ingredients and 1/2 cup of water, put a lid on and simmer for 15 minutes. |
