A recipe from Bangladesh. Ingredients:
4 potatoes, peeled and cut like thin french fries |
1 onion, thinly sliced |
1 teaspoon turmeric |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
2 tablespoons oil |
Directions:
1. Fry the onions in the oil for three minutes; 2. Add the potatoes and stir fry four minutes. 3. Add the rest of the ingredients and 1/2 cup of water, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes. 4. Sprinkle with salt to taste. |
