Alternative to Cheesy Chicken & Rice Bake |

I got this recipe from my family in Winger, MN. It was originally a Campbell's recipe, but well altered to make it even better. I hope you like it!!! Ingredients:
1 (11 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
1 (11 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup |
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth |
1 1/2 cups brown rice (uncooked) |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1 1/2 lbs chicken breast halves (skinless, boneless) |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Mix soups, chicken broth, rice, onion powder and black pepper in 2 or 3 quart shallow baking dish. 2. Top with chicken. 3. Sprinkle chicken with additional pepper. 4. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and rice is done. 5. Top with cheese. 6. Enjoy! |
