Alpine White Hazelnut Cake |

This is a cake I have been making for several years. It is always a big hit. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 box white cake mix |
1/4 cup hazelnut liqueur |
1/4 cup roasted and finely chopped hazelnuts |
1/2 cup fresh raspberries |
1 alpine white candy bar warmed and shaved |
frosting |
8 ounce package cream cheese softened |
1/2 cup butter |
16 ounces powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon hazelnut liqueur |
Directions:
1. Prepare cake in two layers according to package directions except substitute liqueur for water. 2. Bake according to directions then cool on racks. 3. For frosting cream butter and cream cheese then add remaining frosting ingredients. 4. Frost center of bottom layer of cake and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts reserving 2 teaspoons. 5. Arrange raspberries over all then top with second layer of cake and continue icing. 6. When finished arrange candy bar curls in center of cake and sprinkle with hazelnuts. |
