Aloo Raita Or Potatoes With Yogurt |

You can eat it with any rice dish or with roti, naan etc.Cool &refreshing!!! Ingredients:
250 gm potatoes |
250 gm yogurt |
1/2 tsp cumin seeds |
1/4-1/2 tsp red chilli powder |
salt to taste |
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves |
1 green chilli, chopped finely |
Directions:
1. Boil,peel and cut potatoes into small cubes. 2. Beat/whisk yogurt in a large bowl. 3. Add the salt, red chilli powder and mix well. 4. Add the potatoes, cumin seeds . Mix well. 5. Garnish with chopped green chilli and coriander leaves. 6. Refrigerate until required. 7. For additional flavour(Tarka or Baghar): Heat 3 tbsp oil, add 2-3 whole red chillies,1/2 tsp cumin seeds and add this to the raita. |
