OK, so maybe I wouldn't put gravy on these, but mashed cauliflower is surprisingly good and satisfying. I might use a food processor or try an immersion blender rather than a standard blender on this. Too tedious to get out of the jar! Read more ! Ingredients:
6 cups cauliflower (1 medium head) |
4 ounces cream cheese |
1 teaspoon garlic |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut cauliflower into pieces and rinse with water. Place cauliflower pieces in a microwave safe dish, cover and cook on high for 8 to 10 minutes or until soft. 2. Drain off moisture from cooked cauliflower. Carefully place hot cauliflower in a blender and blend until smooth. Add cream cheese, garlic, and pepper. Blend to combine ingredients. Remove from blender and serve hot. |
