These bar cookies taste almost like Heath candy bars. Ingredients:
1 egg yolk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup butter |
2 cups flour |
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Sift flour into a bowl. 2. Cream egg yolk, vanilla, brown sugar and butter. 3. Add creamed mixture to flour and mix well. 4. Spread mixture onto a greased cookie sheet. 5. Bake at 250 degrees for 15 minutes. 6. While it's still hot, sprinkle chocolate chips on top. 7. Return to the oven for 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted. 8. Remove from oven and spread chocolate over toffee. 9. Sprinkle pecans over top. |
