Very delicious, very quick, very easy. And very sweet. I always bring home an empty pan when I take this to parties. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup butter |
5 tablespoons sugar |
1 egg yolk |
8 ounces almond paste |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 eggs |
1 egg white |
1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
1 cup powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons milk |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. Crust: Mix all ingredients until crumbly and press into 9 torte pan. 2. Filling: Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour into pan. 3. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes until slightly golden; let cool 10 minutes and ice. 4. Icing: Mix all ingredients except almonds and drizzle over the torte; sprinkle with almonds. |
