3/4 cup brown sugar |
1 egg |
1 tablespoon melted butter |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon almond extract |
1 dash salt |
3/4 cup sliced almonds |
1 whole almonds (for garnish) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Combine sugar, egg, butter, extracts and salt. 3. Mix in sliced almonds. 4. Place 1 whole almond in each unbaked pastry shell, then spoon almond mixture on top, 3/4 full. 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden. |
