Another easy recipe that you can take to work or at a dish to pass meal. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
2 cups sugar |
2 cups flour |
1 cup melted butter or 1 cup margarine |
3 teaspoons almond extract |
1/8 cup confectioners' sugar, for sprinkling |
Directions:
1. Place 4 eggs into a mixing bowl. Mix with whisk until well blended. Add the next ingredients one at a time, mixing with a wooden spoon after each one. (Don't add the confectioners sugar.) Mix until smooth. Pour into an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Do not overbake. You can check by using a wooden toothpic inserted into the middle and it comes out clean. When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar and cut into squares. |
