Deliciously simple. Tastes like Almond Roca but has a texture that's easy to sink your teeth into Ingredients:
1 cup butter (not margarine) |
1 cup brown sugar |
12 ounces chocolate chips (2 cups) |
1 cup chopped almonds |
42 club crackers |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Line 15 x 10 cookie sheet (with sides) with foil. 3. Spray with Pam. 4. Arrange crackers (salt side up). 5. Bring butter and sugar to boiling and boil over medium heat 4 minutes. 6. Pour over crackers and spread evenly. 7. Bake 6 minutes. 8. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips and spread with a spatula as they melt. 9. Sprinkle with almonds and press the almonds into the chocolate. 10. Refrigerate 2 hours then break into pieces. |
