A light fresh tasting pilaf Not sure where I first found this recipe Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter |
1 1/2 cups white rice |
3 cups chicken broth |
1/4 cup toasted almond (slivers) |
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley |
2 teaspoons lemon zest |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper |
Directions:
1. Saute uncooked rice with butter until golden. 2. Add broth and bring to a boil, cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed. Add other ingredients. |
