ALMOND MUSHROOM WILD RICE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hellmann Estate in Lewisville, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked wild rice |
2-1/2 cups chicken broth |
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms |
1/2 cup slivered almonds toasted |
2 tablespoons butter melted |
2 tablespoons chopped green onion |
Directions:
1. Rinse and drain rice then place in baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. 2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well then cover and bake at 325 for 2 hours. |
