A sweet treat - delicious with fresh fruit in season Ingredients:
20 ritz crackers or 20 jatz crackers |
1 cup caster sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup sliced almonds |
3 egg whites |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 180c. Grease pie dish. 2. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla, beat again for 30 seconds. 3. Fold in crushed biscuits & nuts. 4. Pour into pie dish and bake for 20 - 30 minutes. 5. Decorate with whipped cream, fruit or more nuts. |
