If you love Almond Joy candy bars, this cookie is for you! Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 1/2 cups white sugar |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar |
4 eggs |
4 tsp vanilla extract |
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 tsp baking soda |
1 tsp salt |
5 cups semisweet chocolate chips |
2 cups flaked coconut |
2 cups chopped almonds |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F. 2. Grease cookie sheets. 3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. 4. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until well blended. 5. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips, coconut and almonds. 6. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. 7. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. 8. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. 9. Makes 5 to 6 dozen cookies. |
