                    This simple side dish of Almond Green Beans comes together easily and quickly. Toasted almonds add extra flavor and crunch to this fresh side. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 tablespoon butter  |  
                                                1/4 cup slivered almonds  |  
                                                2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic  |  
                                                12 ounces trimmed green beans  |  
                                                3 tablespoons water  |  
                                                1/4 teaspoon salt  |  
                                                1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add almonds; cook 2 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring constantly. Remove from pan with a slotted spoon. Add garlic to pan; cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Add green beans, water, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook 4 minutes or until beans are tender and liquid evaporates.
