1 (1 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin |
1 cup water |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup milk |
1 tablespoon almond extract |
1 (13 ounce) can fruit with syrup |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, dissolve gelatin in water. Place over high heat until it comes to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Add sugar and stir in extract; mix well. Pour into a deep, square pan and put in refrigerator to cool. When cooled, cut into cubes and serve with fruit on top. ( If you want more syrup with the fruit, make a syrup by mixing 1 cup water, 3 Tblsp. sugar and 1/4 teaspoons almond extract. Chill. |
